- Built in protection circuit to disable the battery in the event of a short circuit, over-current, over-voltage or under-voltage.
- Not all 18650 batteries have a protection circuit. Loose 18650 cells without a protection circuit should not be used in Owl Sense.
Using non-recommended batteries may cause issues. Owl Sense requires batteries with approximately 70mm length and a large button top. Do not use 18650 batteries with a built in USB charger.
